Fransman considering South Africa return

Former Moroka Swallows and Kaizer Chiefs defender Bevan Fransman is set to make a return South Africa next season after four years in Israel.

Fransman joined Maccabi Netanya in 2008 before moving to Hapoel Tel Aviv in 2010, but the 29-year-old is speaking to several clubs in the Premier Soccer League (PSL), including Swallows, Santos and SuperSport United.

SuperSport could be favourites to land Fransman, who worked with Gavin Hunt during their time together at the Dube Birds.

Fransman is returning to South Africa next season, a source close to the player told KickOff.com.

There are two or three clubs interested in signing him, though SuperSport have shown more interest than the rest.

Fransman has been capped 16 times by South Africa and was part of the squad for the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations.
